I’m currently using M Rahman Construction – (347) 768-9938 (www.brownstonefacade.com) and I’m very happy. Of course I started with a brick exterior that looked like an office so the fact it now looks like a brownstone is amazing in and of itself. Still, Rahman is extremely pleasant to work with and very professional. I priced him against 3 or 4 others and he seemed to be the most reasonable contractor who still knew what he was doing. I’ll post photos when done.

I’m an architect and I came across them when they did work for a client years ago who owns a brownstone on Amsterdam ave.
I’ve used them for my brownstone here and each year they do something- re-pointing, brownstone patching, new patio, and even my roof. They actually primarily work in Manhattan.

I know that VinRoy Barronette of Park Slope Brownstone has worked in Manhattan. He’s very good & reasonably priced.
