Has anyone had any experience with All Renovations LLC? They are located in Staten Island

  1. All Renovation is getting close to finishing a gut reno of a townhouse duplex + cellar for me in North Slope. I would strongly recommend giving serious consideration to these guys.

Here are the reasons I like them: (1) their estimate was reasonable (not highest or lowest); (2) they are always pushing the project along at a good pace, (3) they do very nice quality work, (4) they are cooperative and fair on the inevitable change orders, etc etc. Most importantly, the 2 principals (Pietro and Robert) are very good guys who are open & communicate well. They care about getting it done right.

Also, I think they know how to manage their business so there’s less risk they’ll take your deposit then go bankrupt and disappear. That’s what happened to our first GC, JAW Construction, which is mentioned in a warning bv another poster in the Forum. I also lost a lot of time and money because of JAW.

If I was looking to hire a GC in the future, I would be very concerned about this issue. GC’s seem to go bust and disappear quite often.

  2. All Renovation are working on my house and and they are doing a fine job.
They have gutted and rebuilt a bathroom and will be doing other projects.
They keep the work site clean and tidy, they sealed doorways and covered the floors, so the building dust and debris has been limited. They have been respectful and appreciate that we have to live in midst of major construction. I have been real comfortable having them work on the house.

Their construction skills are top notch, they have been flexible when adjustments have been necessary. Also Pietro and Robert appreciate design esthetics have made good recommendations.

I don’t think that you could do better.

  3. I also used AllRenovation for my Windsor Terrace brownstone project. They gutted my parlor and garden floor apartments and restored all the existing woodwork. It was 10 month job which went flawless. I interview 3 other companies and AllRenovation was the only one to submit a professional itemized estimate which made it easy for me to budget my job. I was also a newbie in renovation speak and terminology, they were extremely helpful and answered all my questions during the project. I highly recommend them. Any other questions please feel free to email me at mr_tico@yahoo.com

You can see my project on the following link of pics which they made available to me after my job, look for Windsor Terrace brownstone.

    good luck,

  4. I had Pietro come and give me an estimate on a full brownstone renovation and he was quite thorough and gave a very detailed estimate, priced by each individual job, so it would have made for easy budgeting. he also pointed out things that neither my husband or I even noticed! The estimate was neither cheap nor way over the top. Unfortunately the deal went south and we decided not to buy the place in the end, but we would have used them for sure. I was very confident in talking with Pietro as well as looking at their previous work. Not the answer you wanted, but I hope it helps!
