Dead Birds in Clinton Hill
Wondering if anyone else has noticed the amount of dead birds on Clinton Hill sidewalks. Walking around yesterday I saw four (2 of them babies) bodies lying on the ground. Has there been any spraying recently? If anyone has insights regarding this troubling phenomenon, please share. Thank you.

I live in Stoneham and I have seen two baby birds dead in the same week. I think it is alarming. I let the police know but they say there is nothing to be alarmed. I know that in some countries when you see dead bird you have to notify the health board so that they can examine to see if it is not a epidemic that is spreading.
Thanks for the info, everyone. I haven’t seen any more dead birds since I posted so it sounds like the wind could be the culprit.
Bravo, BHO.
But seriously — they’re baby pigeons. The ones people supposedly never see.
I think they’re tossed out of the nest by other birds. I was walking down Fulton one day and one landed right in front of me; as far as I could tell, it was quite dead on the way down.
“What kind of birds are we talking about here?”
Canaries.
