Chase Refinance
My folks submitted paper work to refinance their home with Chase. It has been 3-4months since they have heard from anything. My mother told me last that when she called the guy said “There have been a lot of applications…” Is 4 months WAY too long for this?

The big banks are too busy to handle the business. They don’t have an incentive to move faster or offer an agressive quote.
I would shop around and check turn times as well as rates since they have come down recently.

I just closed my refinance with Chase this week. My application was submitted in mid January. I heard the same thing, they are backed up with tons of applications.
things are taking longer now with more applicants and less employees to process them. our took about 3 months and that’s what our chase broker told us.
You’re lucky to find a pen that works at Chase let alone borrow money.
I just closed at the end of March and started the process in December. It depends on the bank, the assignment department held me up. No reason, just sat on it.
