Lafayette Condo Conversion

I walked through a brownstone condo conversion on Lafayette (673, I think) that caught my eye because the prices — under $400,000 for a three bedroom — seemed not half bad. The construction itself though made me nervous. Everything felt a little cheap and half cocked. Has anyone else been through 673 Lafayette? Insights?
