I would like insights or details into new-construction condos that have not sold, and become rentals. Is there a risk that a renter’s lease will not be renewed if the market improves and condos start selling? …or is there protection against this?

Anyone have any experience with the rent-to-own options I’ve seen around?

1103 Cortelyou — any specific experience with this building, as an owner or renter?

Thanks.

  1. I have no experience with that building, and this comment is thus totally useless. But that never stops anyone around here, so I’ll just point out that you’d be a stone’s throw of all sorts of good stuff, *but* it will be very loud at odd hours, thanks to the firehouse, express buses in rush hours, delivery trucks, general traffic, etc. But it would be a good base to explore the surrounding area, and find a quieter place nearby, of which there are several.

  2. I was looking for those in months already, yet, no luck. It’s a great opportunity for people to own but are not yet ready to purchase. It’s not, however, that popular in ny.
If you find out more please post.
