I would like to hear about your experience with Caesarstone – how easily does it get chipped?
Does it matter what kind of edge you have? Someone told me once elaborate edges such as ogee are less resilient than more plain edges such as eased.
Is Caesarstone really any worse than granite or marble?
What is your experience?
Thanks!

  1. CaesarStone is a good material. Most stones are gong to chip if you’re too rough on them. As a general rule of thumb, shaper corners chip more easily. An eased edge will chip faster than a rounded over edge, but an eased edge is nicer and crisp. If your ogee has a thin or crisp edge it could chip too.

CaesarStone has real benifits too though. It won’t stain as easily as most marble products. It is more uniform for modern interiors. It is cheaper than almost all marbles except carerra. Hope this helps.
