I wanted an inspection of two chimneys and was worried about getting a hard-sell on new liners etc ($3-5k job it seems) even if they weren’t really necessary. I called Andre from A&A, based on all the + reviews in this forum. He came, inspected, told me everything looked fine as is. I was thinking about at least buying chimney caps and he said those are usually unnecessary and sold by guys just looking to make a buck. I paid him his inspection fee (small $) and that was that.
I just wanted to salute Andre for his honesty! So if you need a chimney inspection, I’d definitely call him. I am not Andre, I’ve posted many times under my tag.
I would recommend anyone to call “Dynasty Chimney” (718-338-4741) If you want reasonable, fair rates, and Beautiful work call!! Here, this company Built me 2 beautiful Fireplaces and relined my Chimney flue for my Boiler, for a fair rate and finished before the week was through. Ask for Paul or Chris.
We just recently closed on a house and needed our chimney cleaned before converting to gas. We called up A&A and they accommodated to our work schedule. The chimney specialist finished the job in 30-45 minutes and explained to us what we need to look out for in the future. The job was initially quoted for $125 but because theres major clog in the chimney..I guess extra work needed to be done.. so it was $175 which is still not bad.

Over the years I’ve used Jakobsen Boiler and Chimney for all sorts of chimney and boiler problems and have found them to be great and really nice. They were originally recommended to me by John Hlad. 718-338-5338.
Do you have his contact info? Do you know if he installs gas fireplaces?
