Leaking from glass door in shower room
We bought thick glass door/wall for our renovating shower room in good moving sale. Our contractor installed the glass door, but leaking is happening all the time. Our contractor put clear filler which didn’t work. What is the best way to stop the leak? Any materials? Or Glass door comes with leak? Thank you for…

Thank you for reading this!
sounds like it wasn’t properly siliconed in–even with the plastic trip strips, you have to apply silicone to the back. If installed without the plastic channel, then you need to silicone between the tile and the wall/floor. The mounting clips are potential leaks as well–I’ve had to take a few apart and smear both sides with a thin layer of silicone then reassemble to deal with persistent leaks.
This photo is not my real bathroom,,,.
Thank you for your info, Brucef!
I can’t tell from pic where the leak is, but keep this in mind generally.
Water flows with gravity. The pitch or slope of surfaces determines which way water (given its druthers) would go. Unless there is a clear path of shower pressurized water penetrating an opening, I would think in terms of caulk and possibly adding what would look as if it was intentional, another tile molding sloped up. White? bull nose could cover caulk so it wouldn’t be visible, plus water won’t want to climb over.
