Hi! Our bathroom walls are white, porus, tavertine (tumbled). Bad us, we didn’t seal it properly…now thanks to the moisture from the shower mold is growing in the stone. We’ve tried traditional mold-remover (damprid), bleach, and scrubbing without sucess. Can anyone recommend a really strong product, or someone expert at dealing with mold removal? The stone is beautiful, and we don’t want to lose it. Thank you!

  1. It’s not anything to do with sealing it, in fact it’s better not to at first otherwise you trap moisture within the stone as the setting bed cures.

    The cure is to let the stone dry thoroughly, which might mean not using the shower for a few days to the extent that it’s possible.

    After it’s completely dry, then MB makes a mildew remover that should work:
