I have a question for anyone with even the slightest information on this product. What is it?! I have never heard of a kadex ceiling finish before and i have been searching the web for days and have made plenty of phone calls without any luck. Anyway, heres the deal. I have huge job in brooklyn that requires a kadex finished ceiling. If you have any information to offer me, or if you are interested in doing the work, feel free to comment back. Thank you.

  1. Hello Andrew I do Kadex ceilling and if you need some help I can help you I been Working on it as pro in jersey city where building almost touch the skay too 🙂 1917 864 1787 thanks..

  2. Kadex as a company has been out of business for several years – small family owned business in Ohio, big part of NYC hi-rise

    USG makes the replacement product

  3. Kadex is a vinyl-base material that is applied as a finish directly to the underside of formed concrete slabs, typically in residential and hotel construction. It can be painted or left unpainted. Any decent sized painting subcontractor should be capable of doing the work. I too was surprised that there is zero useful information coming up with a Google search for “kaydex” but the following links relate to essentially the same material:
