Great Painter!!

I want to tell people about a great painter who worked on my brownstone apartment in Carroll Gardens. His name is Gordon Voisey and his e-mail is gvoisey@nyc.rr.com. I called Gordon because the large painted tin ceiling in my living room was cracking and I had other walls that needed major work. He knew exactly what materials to buy. He scraped, plastered and painted. He did an amazing job. He took great care in moving and covering my furniture. When the job was finished he cleaned and moved everything back to it’s original spot. My whole apartment looks brand new. I highly recommend Gordon. He is a true professional.
Dear OP and 8:35:
While your intentions are honorable, you should know that most of the people on this forum are looking to do work “on the cheap”. Look at some of the recent posts. Such as “A lot of work to paint kitchen cabinets?”
Gordon sounds like a high-end guy. If you want to do Gordon a favor continue to recommend him to friends and associates who can afford to do the work appropriately.

Actually I think the explanation of the types like 12:55 is they don’t have a life so they hang around on Forum waiting for anything that appears to be a fake post or someone seeking free advertising so they can play the hero and call them out. So pathetic.
Everyone whines that nobody shares the contact info for their contractors and handymen around here but when somebody does the weirdos jump all over them.
Thank you OP for sharing this helpful information.
The thing about NYC is that, after a while, you run into many people in various lines of work who are scamming folks, to some degree or another, so it makes people unduly (or perhaps not unduly, just more) cynical.
I had no idea when the first post went up. I simply responded to it when I read it.
Why does this site have such high number of nasty people?
Maaaybe it would have been a BIT more believable had you waited a few days (as opposed to minutes) before posting the second recommendation. Come on!
Why such automatic distrust and ill will on this web site, “Mr Hancock”?
I will happily verify my recommendation of Gordon’s work by phone (212)877-5400 or email danstarer AT gmail.com
I can second this recommendation. Gordon has done painting and plastering on my Manhattan townhouse for several years. He produces excellent results, is reliable and honest.
