I’m selling this on e-bay (long story). It’s Brooklyn pick-up only, so I thought I’d post it.

  1. This looks similar to a sink/vanity sold by Urban Archeology, which is a modern copy of an antique. Super expensive, like this. If so, you probably paid around $3400.

We talk a good show around here, but most people balk at prices like that. Good luck.

  2. Ernie, I think you need to be a bit more realistic. Yes, a high-end salvage place or antique store might charge $3400, but with that, the shop likely made necessary repairs and did a full cleaning–and carefully vetted it before buying for 1/3 to 1/2 the retail price.(and the buyer can subsequently pay by credit card to protect their purchase).

You are an unknown quantity with no shop and no reputation and no shipping or installation services. Price the vanity accordingly.

  3. $3400??? for $3400 I’ll go to Italy, pick up the marble, then personally forge the steel and assemble it in you bathroom whilst singing show tunes from you favorite Broadway Show.

  4. Doesn’t look so bad in your bathroom. I would consider keeping it. Otherwise, the price is on the high side. Including dimensions in your ad may help.
