Anyone know what happened to Laila Restaurant
Does anyone know what happened to Laila restaurant on 7th avenue and 15th street? I noticed it’s been shut for about 3 weeks and I just passed by it today and the door was open and workmen were inside doing demolotion.. wonder what’s going in there???

I loved that place…sadly I believe its turning into yet another sushi restaurant. They were WAY better than the Olive Vine.
No one ate there and if they didn’t own the building they would have closed years ago. Also I think they own the building across the street where Olive Vine is located which kind of “cannibalized” their business.
