Hi all:

This is my first post to the forum. We recently bought an apartment that has a great garden out back but you can only access it through the basement.

We’re looking to actually break out the kitchen and make access to the back via a deck or something.

Can anyone recommend a good architect to do this kind of work? We’re pretty flexible – we’re thinking something along the lines of a greenhouse/deck thing.

Any suggestions would be great.

  3. I just spoke to someone yesterday who was explaining me rules about greenhouses. He seemed somewhat knowledgable. His name was Jerry. I think he was an architect/expediter. I have his card in my office, I’ll let you know tomorrow.

  4. Make sure that you have a legal right to the garden, since this is a co-op or condo.

    Co-op, you will need board approval to do this work. They’ll want to see drawings prepared by an Architect.
