I just recently obtained a estimate from “Wood-Zone” for stripping my exterior door and a large amount of interior staining. As anyone done business with them before?

  1. we had him come back and finish the work that we put off when we had him here the first time because of our budget.
we have no issues with him, job well done again and we would
definitley use him again if the need comes up.

  2. Sorry, but I had an awful time with Woodzone. joe was difficult to get hold off, and started six weeks late though he had promised the job could be done quickly. Then he tried to beg off part of the job because he didn’t think he could do it well. That left a half-finished job. The stain looked painted on and streaky. Go elsewhere.

  3. Joe salem from woodzone did my front doors and he was very accomodating. He offered me 3 options, strip it on sight, offered to board it up and offered a temporary door. price and work was great.www.woodzoneinc.com

  4. We did interior doors only, so it wasn’t an issue except using the bathroom with no door…

Maybe he can make you a cheap temporary door?
Or maybe he can finish it on site.

  5. If they remove the doors to strip them, how do you protect your property while the doors are gone? My doors are my tenant entrance to the top floor apartment, and we use the garden. The inside door would not leave enough protection from breakins. Any suggestions?

  6. Around $200 per interior door. They stripped, filled holes and restained. This included pickup, removal and reinstallation. All work was done in his shop.

  7. Yes. They were excellent. They redid all of our doors and stained them. They were a week late on schedule, but that wasn’t critical for us. The price was great, we thought and he was really nice and knowledgeable and didn’t use harsh chemicals.
