Cost of Adding a Bathroom
I’m looking to get an idea of how much it would cost to add a new bathroom to a floorthru condo in a brooklyn brownstone (about 15 feet away from the closest running water on the floor). Also do I need any kind of permit to do this job?

The problem is not in getting running water to the room but being able to get rid of it. You will need someone to come out to see if it’s even possible to run 15′ of waste line and then vent it to the roof stack. Depending on how the floor joists run and if the new bath is in line with them.
Before I did this without a permit I would check with the other condo owners especially the person directly below you.
