In shopping around, the only brand that I have come across so far is Governale. Burnham has some beautiful new radiators, but at $1000 for the 7 section, they’re out of my price range.
I went and looked at some at Demolition Depot, but I wouldn’t touch them with a 10ft. pole.
I’m looking for recommendations on either new radiators, or a place to pick up some old ones which have already been cleaned up, or from a company that can get them cleaned up.
Any ideas?
Try a guy in boston named Joel, http://www.radicalradiator.com
we bought several to match our old ones. They arrived uncracked, cleaned inside, primed outside. he has a large selection of vintage and is also a pleasure to work with.

we replaced a bunch of our radiators with those Governale (as they seem to be the only thing out there new) and they acually look pretty good. before our plumber installed them we painted them with special heat resistant paint and it’s amazing what a difference a clean shiny radiator makes. plus they crank out the heat and are way efficient.
