Help !! We want to live in Greenpoint and need help finding a reasonable apt.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we might find a reasonable 2 bedroom apartment in Greenpoint? We went through a realtor, jumped through all the hoops and then were told it was already taken. We love the area but don’t have much money as we are recent college grads. We are great tenants, responsible, mature, etc. If you know of anything available or can give us a lead as to the best source of such information we would be forever in your debt. thanks
