I am looking for a free cabinet making class, I have recently finished a class a a place called NEW and I am goiong for carpentry but the test is not until January and in the meantime I want to continue to work on getting better at carpentry.

3rd Ward in East Williamsburg (www.3rdwardbrooklyn.org) offers furniture making and woodworking classes. I took a welding class there and thought the facilities and instructors were both excellent. Reasonably priced too.

i would like to learn basic woodworking and joint making to be able to make built in shelves and cabinets at the house.
