Alex Fradkoff is not an architect, though he sells his services as one, apparently undettered by having lost a lawsuit against him for fraud and forgery for this. The work in that case was not to code. This practice is unsafe!
I realize it’s almost a month later, but if you’re still looking for an architect you should visit my website: http://www.cinukai.com
I specialize in apt combinations and do my own expediting at the DOB.
I am new to Brownstoner. If you are still looking for an architect, email me at AofR.NYC@gmail.com
I can help you as an expeditor. My email is dsgarvin@gmail.com. I live and work in Ft. Greene. I’ll give you my number if you email me.
I can research, do much of the work needed for expediting at home, as well as go to the Dept. of Bldgs when necessary to do legwork, research, etc…
Deborah.
Alex at Alex Fradkoff Designs. He’s a personal friend of mine and is great at what he does – has references, been published, etc. Tell him Betsy referred you. 212-388-2634, http://www.alexfradkoff.com
Good Luck…
try: sohbr.net. They are in “Queens” and have done the same for me in upper Manhattan.

If you’re picking an architect based on price, you’re in trouble. Try focusing on finding a good one.
