I’m more than positive that a Clive Christian kitchen is way of out of my price range but ever since I passed by (and actually stopped in quickly to take a peak) the showroom today on Madison I’ve been dreaming!!!! Does anyone have an actual Clive Christian kitchen? Can anyone share what they know or think such a kitchen would cost in a typical brownstone? I fell in love a long time ago with the painted ivory kitchen in their catalog.
I agree Michele..the kitchens from C are beautiful..do you have any interest is selling the one you recently bought online..?

John
I think the CC cabinets can be beautiful if you dont go too fancy. The store is truly beautiful here in atlanta and my kids always get ticked when I slow down in front of it. I love their stuff!

8:42 – Thanks for responding with an actual figure. I was just curious and $100,000 is exactly what I thought. Again, just curious and never would actually go ahead and do this.
10:27 – I definitely agree and already knew that what I’m looking for can be achieved by a custom cabinetmaker but was just curious and dreaming that I had lots of money to throw away. LOL
Architect, you nailed it: It looks like every architectural digest interior (which all looks like one interior).
Ick
Whatever it is that you like about a Clive Christian kitchen can be achieved by a skilled custom cabinetmaker team — except, of course, the branding and incessant advertisement in Architectural Digest.
On a side note, I’m always amused by Clive Christian unfortunate juxtapositions: Louis Quatorze cabinets and bump-outs up against and mixed with (e.g.) Gaggenau appliances. Some might say there’s a nice frission between “old” and new, sleek and modern, but I just see one status badge crowding another.

When a friend who was re-doing her kitchen walked into CC, she was told not to bother unless she was planning to spend at least $100,000 on cabinets. Does that answer your question?
I’m not dreaming of overwrought and overly lavish. That is not my style either! I do like CC’s painted cabinets (in ivory or pale yellow), simple white tiled backsplash and wood floor.
I realize we all cannot like the same things and while there are many ideas and suggestions on this site that make me want to gag I have the common courtesy not to say so.
I did get a kick out of the Florida listing! LOL
I agree with 10:13. Too overwrought. Gag.
I dunno, to me those kitchens lack any personal style, and make an impression that’s more tacky/cheesy than grand. No offence to any floridians out there, but it basically screams this:

Goes well with “lavish marble”. Ick.
