Anyone use them? What do you think of them – also any other door companies you can recommend?

  1. Interviewed both Southslope Woodworks and Tamer. Went with Nathan from Southslope because he could tell me a lot more about my door and brownstone and seemed to care more than Adele from Tamer. Will post with update when project is finished.

  2. Nate’s a passionate master craftsman and a great guy. We refer all our clients to Southslope and it’s always a pleasure to work with him.

  3. Nate at Southslope is a really decent and nice guy. He’s very knowledgeable about restoration woodwork. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants doors, or any custom reproduction woodwork made for their homes.

  4. All I can say is that someone there steered me right when I recently posted a question about getting glass replaced in a front door. Seems to me if they are recommending quality they are probably quality as well.
