A vandal has somehow managed to deeply etch initials into the limestone wall that separates my front garden plot from the street. Can anyone suggest a DIY method for removing these incisions without causing further damage to the limestone? If not a DIY project, any suggestions as to who I should for help? Thanks!

  1. I’m not kidding here but try a meat mullet, the spiky side and softly try to remove just a thin layer of stone just as deep as the graffity.
Very important please post back the results,I’ll be waiting!!

  2. How awful! I wonder if they are ever able to make a compound from pieces of old limestone, like making it into a kind of cement. You could chip away at the initials even more to obscure what the letters are, whatever you put in there cement or something, so the initials aren’t obvious. Or what about attaching a decorative stone piece on top of it? Like a carved piece of stone.
