Want to cut a small (2’x3′) hole in a brick exterior wall, and install a window. Does anyone have a Brooklyn contractor or masonry professional who specializes in this?

  1. Any .38 caliber or up will gouge-out the masonry if you fire it at the wall from up close in a circular motion. You may have to reload 3 or 4 times depending on your mag capacity.

I usually try to do it when I know the neighbors are out. But then again I kinda like them.

  2. You have to get an architect to file something like that. Otherwise, if the building falls down, you’re screwed.

It’s one thing to drill a hole for a cable. Making a 2×3 hole in a brick supporting wall has to be done by professionals who can assess what type of additional support is needed.

You have to talk to an architect or a structual engineer and by law you have to file.
