Brick townhouses on Henry St. in Brooklyn Heights
Anyone know what the story is with the 60s-looking small brick townhouses on Henry Street around Cranberry? A sign says Whitman Owner Corp. Townhouses and I’m guessing they’re somehow connected with the current/former Mitchell Lama towers that bookend them. They are kind of cute but I am always surprised that they aren’t being torn down…

They are kind of cute but I am always surprised that they aren’t being torn down to make way for condos, etc. Anyone have the scoop?
They are part of the complex, managed by the same group, and are actually quite nice inside. The first one that sold a few years ago on the open market was an amazing bargain at probably around $880k (with a dirt cheap parking garage space), and now is probably worth double
As far as I know they are part of the Mitchell Lama building…I saw one come on the market about two years ago and the floor plan made it seem quite small…….is there a managing agent for the buildings that you could contact for more info?
