I live in a small condo. Not sure who to tip for holidays. I know, I know holidays are over. What can I say, I’m slow. But do i tip con ed guy, mailperson, garbage collectors?

I tip the mailman. Whenever he goes on vacation I see how important he is to me!
I never tip the sanitation people. They made my life an unnecessary hell during renovation.
Once I called 311, because they didn’t take something, and when they came back they threw it into my garden.
I tip my UPS guy, he is very nice and will go the extra mile.
I tip the mail carrier, they are important for me when I travel they make sure the mail is held, then deliver a large bag of mail upon my return.
i might tip the garbage collectors, but i would never even think to tip a mailman. that’s just nutty.
Why the need to tip anyone? Not sure who started this. All these folks have jobs and receive regular pay checks. Not sure why i should supplement anyone’s income. Let me know i would like to get a tip for doing my job.
I tip my mailman. Don’t tip the sanitation or con-ed or kepspan or verizon. I don’t think sanitation can except tips. Who would you tip on the others, the guy who reads the meters or the one who intalled your phone line or the guy who came by to check your gas leak? I have had different meter readers as well. I tip my mailman as I know he takes care of me. They are allowed to take up to a $20 gift, not cash. (official rules) I give it to him personally as sometimes he has a sub. We also tip the guy who does our trash as a building.
