Apt in crown heights north
Im considering renting a 2 bedroom jr.(extra smaller bedroom)on Dean st. and revere place between kingston and Albany for $1600 utilities not included. Is this to pricey should I look around some more can I get something similar in a better neighborhood.

I have something around the corner on Pacific between Kingston and Albany for $1250, utilities included!
I live around the corner…it seems high to me…we rent apts for $1400. Also, revere place is close to the albany projects and the side of kingston ave that can be problematic…you might want to look around a bit.
Go for it if you like the place. Rents are high all over. I love the nabe.
actually jimmy legs its 2 bedrooms with an additional smaller bedroom you could use as an office.
I think that’s in the range if it’s a nice apt. That neighborhood has a wide range of prices because there are some really great buildings on (soon to be) landmarked blocks and there are some run down places as well. If the one you are looking at is nice then $1600 is about right.
it may already be taken but i know there was an apt renting for $1600 on gates ave @ grand in clinton hill. it’s a floor-through 1.5 bedroom (sound the same as a 2 bedroom jr.) so i’d say that sounds high to me for that area. but i don’t know much about that nrughborhood, or how nice the apartment is. search craigslist to get an idea of what rents are out there.
