SEEKING CONTRACTOR

I have a building on Wythe Ave in the Northside of Williamsburg. I am extending a 3200sq ft brick brownstone into a 7500 sqft semi-luxury six story elevator building. My architect is currently submitting these plans to the DOB for approval.
I am seeking a good, honest contractor. Will send plans.
Thanks

  1. Dollar Construction (Hassan) is terrible!! They walked away from my job after collecting 2/3rds of the payment, and finishing less than half the work, because I refused to pay any more until the work was finished. They did this on two jobs they were ?working? on concurrently on my street. A really expensive mistake (10k), and an absolute nightmare that I am afraid is going to get worse because the shoddy work is going to require a complete teardown and redo in many areas. I am so upset and frustrated, and I really should have known better then to give them more then ? the agreed upon payment. A day after leaving the job less than half finished, all contact numbers I was given have been disconnected.

  2. Sorry, I just read what I wrote and I meant that I heard from others that their experience with contractors have all been awful. So I was not implying others gave All Renovations a bad rap. Anyways if you have any questions feel free to email me at allan@seveneighteen.net

    Good Luck!

  3. Hi Charles,

I just finished my renovation project with a company called All Renovation. They were highly dependable, customer service oriented (always returned phone calls immediately), and over-all a great experience. I was highly surprised with my experience since I heard horror stories from others but I was able to check out all the references that All Renovation gave me + validate their contractors licenses (which by the way is listed under partners name Pietro Calabretta). Anyway, they gutted my brownstone garden floor and parlor floor, plus built a deck from the parlor floor to the garden. They also put in all new pocket doors which were crazily removed by the previous owner + he installed a salvaged fireplace I bought from craigslist…it looks like it’s always been there!

I have pictures posted to my shutterfly account at the following link, I believe they have my garden floor pics on their site but none of the parlor yet as it was just finished.

One last thing…they were just involved in building several items for the HGTV show Urban Outsiders. Get them now before they hit it big time….they are great people!
