We are looking for an HVAC company to install a system in a 100-year-old Park Slope brownstone. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks! JJ

  1. I haven’t done the job yet, but I liked the people at EB Mechanical and, even more, the people at Econotherm. Stay away from Sears – the salesman was incredibly rude and insulting!

  2. Try EB Mechanical – 718-416-2235 ask for Phil. I had them bid out a SpacPak air (high velocity) unit. I didn’t end up going with SpacPak and EB but they were extremely professional and polite.

  3. just you will have to put an internal staircase from the parlor floor to the floor above it until you take over the top floor unless you want to share the hall with a tenant.
