Looking for 1br in Brooklyn

Hi everyone — sorry to crash your forum, but my husband and I are currently looking for a [no fee] 1 bedroom rental in Brooklyn. We’re both young professionals (I am a children’s book editor, and he is a research assistant and PhD candidate) in our mid-20’s. We’re polite, clean, nonsmokers with excellent credit, recently married and looking to start our life together. We can furnish recommendations on request.

We’re looking for a 1 bedroom apartment for max $1600/month. We need to move by 10/1, but if the place is right, we’d consider moving earlier. We’re most interested in Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, Williamsburg, Clinton Hill, etc.
