Paint splatters on brownstone
My neighbor just had his house facade repaired and repainted. The painters were incredibly sloppy and neglected to protect my stoop, which is splattered with paint. My neighbor just had his house facade repaired and repainted. The painters were incredibly sloppy and neglected to protect my stoop, which is splattered with paint. Any suggestions on how to get the paint off without hurting the brownstone? if i were you, i would take them to court. why should you be forced to pay? you can always find the name of the owner, buildings department, dept. of finance, property shark etc.
Unfortunately, short of taking them to court, I doubt they’ll do anything about (despite having photos of they guys working). Once a tenant in the building, by accident, dropped a plant, smashing my skylight and the agent for the building (who had an office in the building) denied knowing who the owner of the building was! I don’t remember ever meeting anyone as obnoxious.
