Installing Bird Spikes
We have a serious pigeon problem on the front of our house. Does anyone have a recommendation for either a roofer or an exterminator who could clean the mess up and install bird spikes or other pigeon deterrants?

Pigeons have a serious panic factor behavior. When one takes flight they all jump. There are even some food additives they put in bird seed to heighten this behavior in pigeons so that they freak out and never can get settled in. You can get the bird spikes Nixolite I believe it is called at some lumber yards in brooklyn. It’s not cheap. I used the plastic owl thing in my back yard, cleared up my plastic mouse problem in a week but did not scare the pigeons.
INSTEAD OF SPIKES YOU MIGHT WANT TO TRY THIS PEGIONS DO NOT LIKE TO BE DISTURBED OR TO FLY AT NIGHT . WHAT I HAVE DONE AND IT WORKED IS AT NIGHT GO OUT THERE WITH A BALL OR WATER HOSE WHATEVER WORKS FOR YOU AND MAKE THEM FLY AWAY AFTER DOING THIS SEVERAL TIMES THEY WILL FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY WONT BE DISTURBED .. A FRIEND OF MINE ALSO HAD THIS PROBLEM BUT HE SAID IT TOOK ALMOST 2 WEEKS FOR THEY TO FINALLY WENT AWAY .
