development
It looks like there’s some preliminary activity at 132-136 Hall Street between Park and Myrtle. The requisite plywood barrier has fenced in the one-story commercial building which looks ripe for demolition. The developers have an R6 zoning to work with and what we estimate is 100 feet of street frontage. Details? GMAP P*Shark

  1. Hi there. This is the development that I live next door to and was freaking out about recently in the forum:

    http://brownstoner.com/forum/archives/2006/03/need_lawyer_for_1.html#trackbacks

The construction is on hold after a neighbor with business concerns on Myrtle got a stop-work order from the DOB because the builders failed to put up that security fence after demolishing the walls. I’m quite nervous about the way they’ve handled the construction so far and am thinking of hiring a good lawyer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  2. the renovation of the old Armory bulilding next door is a great job, could that be Scarano also?
This is another typical 60’s modern Carl Fisher job that will block all the light and air for the existing units next door, but who the f–k cares since it wasn’t professionally certified and they polluted the air with asbestos dust while they did their demo

  3. I can’t say too much, but this lot goes all through Washington St., I know the owner, but he won’t appreciate if I post all I know here.
Btw, as far as I know, you all gonna like this building.
