The Bindery, the LIC development that’s been making headlines for recently hitting the 50%-sold mark as well as bringing in the borough’s first $1,000-a-foot sale, is getting a new neighbor. According to a post on the blog LIC Spot yesterday, Genesis Auto Repair has been relocated from its longtime home at 47-28 11th Street to make way for a residential development. A quick dig through DOB records reveals more details: A seven-story building with 21 residential units and a small commercial space. The project is being done by Kora Developers who have put up some pretty mediocre-looking buildings in the past based upon their website. GMAP

Hope Kora steps it up because their past work looks awful!!
