No End in Sight for Never-Ending Development at 30-30 Northern Boulevard

Once upon a time, developer Edward Minskoff had big plans to turn the industrial building at 30-30 Northern Boulevard into a giant dormitory. He ultimately bailed out, selling the 240,000-square-foot property to Alma Realty in early 2011 for $21,500,000. Alma immediately began working on plans to convert the 5-story industrial building into a seven-story Gold LEED-certified office building–though the Daily News reported last year that the new owners still hope to incorporate a university campus into the footprint at some point down the line.
