The area just north of Queens Boulevard and west of Northern Boulevard has become hotel central in recent years. Continuing that trend is a 116-room, 12-story project at 38-28 27th Street. Set on a largely residential and low-rise block, the new building is designed by DeFonseca Architects. The DOB permit says the building will be 66,000 square feet. Does anyone know who the hotel operator will be? UPDATE: A tipster wrote in to say this would be a second location of the Hotel Vetiver. GMAP
I think the developer is Elias Batalias, of Queens, NY. Can you tell me if this construction continues on or if it has stopped?
