Fresh on the heels of the new Thor renderings comes news that a three-acre site just a block further west has just hit the market. The five-plot parcel was assembled back in the 1980s by Horace Bullard, the owner of the Kansas Fried Chicken chain, who clashed with local officials over his vision for an amusement park on the site. There’s no asking price on the 129,000-square-foot property, but the closest comp is Thor’s sale of 6.9 acres to the City last year for $95.6 million. “The number of people who can purchase the site is limited because of financing constraints, but interest will be strong, said Massey Knakal’s Brian Hanson. It’s an area with tremendous potential.
