936 Fulton
The Lord (and the real estate market) move in mysterious ways. The pair of brownstone storefront buildings on Fulton and St. James are getting a gut reno and we hear that they are going to be residential od some sort. If so, it will be an interesting litmus test for this stretch of Fulton. It’s conveniently located and the facade has nice bones so we could see there being demand, especially for rentals. Plus, a couple new storefronts? Let’s hope the developers don’t cheese out on us. GMAP P*Shark

  1. OH for a real nice bar, one with beer, wine, and cocktails; one that isn’t scary or filled with Prattsters; one that caters to everyone in the ‘hood; one has something besides Stella and Brooklyn Lager on tap.

  2. If a restaurant does open, I hope its better than that place Soule. We were so excited about its opening, so we tried it out shortly after, and everything about our dining experience was AWFUL! Such a shame. We still love Kush, Brown Betty, and Outpost. 🙂

  3. I thought a previous brownstoner post said the bubbleworks and video store building(s) were sold as well – and that the cathedral of deliverance buildings were scheduled for a foreclosure sale but were purchased prior to the foreclosure sale….

Also, it is not clear whether these new apartments will have commercial space on the bottom or not.
