We’ve been keeping our eye on this new townhouse going up on the edge of Ratnerville. Located at 518 Carlton, between Pacific and Dean, the development appears to be a Boymelgreen project, though it’s hard to believe that something this small is worth the big guy’s time. This lot used to be part of the Daily news building and when Shaya aquired the building this lot came with it. He has a non-union Chinese construction crew building it so I’m assuming it’s not costing him a lot of money to develop the thing.

That vacant lost has been there for a long time – it’s nice to see something finally being built on top of it.
Boymelgreen was a smalltime developer until he joined forces with the billionaire diamond dealer Leviev. There was an article in the NYTimes about Boymelgreen last year that detailed how they met.
