Looks like another new development is in the pipeline for this stretch of Myrtle Avenue. The owners of 588 Myrtle Avenue at Classon recently tore down the three-story house on the property in anticipation of something. Unfortunately, no new building plans have been filed yet. What they thinking is, that the Williamsburg hasidic community is expanding further down on Myrtle Ave. and these are the people they are aiming toward..
What were they thinking? When the current market climate, it will be a cold day in hell before they see profit from tearing it down. because there already are many housing development built around the Pratt area.
