BFC Partners has been playing its cards pretty close to its chest on its condo project at 150 Myrtle Avenue. Until now, about all that’s been known about the building, which overlooks Flatbush Extension, is that it was slated to be 37 stories. (The only hint at what the finished product might look like is the last rendering in this post.) The developer just launched a new website for the project, however, and, while there are no renderings, there’s some verbiage that sheds light onto what’s in store: 240 units over 37 stories with ground-floor retail and a fitness center with lap pool. In addition, the green building (it should end up LEED-certified) has an affordable component—42 lucky lottery winners will get to buy in at discounted prices, with a special preference for those who live within Community Board 2 boundaries. Applications can be submitted up until February 18, 2008.

  1. Lived in the area for sometime now and this is the crowning glory of Downtown Brooklyn. Exciting times. Nothing against the Slopers and the Burgers who seem to be the naysayers, but they can eat their hearts out. Change is good, healthy and this town will be back on the renaissance map.
