Big Ass Crane Returns to North 7th Street
It seems like yesterday that the Finger Building’s large crane was casting a long shadow down North 7th Street in Williamsburg. Now, reports justiNYC, a similarly sized machine was planted smack dab in the middle of Berry Street at North 7th on Friday. Any ideas what this is for? GMAP

The crane shown is on Berry – part of the new building going up at the southwest corner of Berry and N7. As far as I know, there is no crane at the finger building (I walked by this morning, but with all the cranes in the area, I suppose I could have missed it…). Unless it was a one day deal.

That thing is going to be use to knock ‘the finger building’ down. I though their construction was illegal or something like that.
