The Pearson Court Square is not the only project that L + M Development is involved in around LIC. The company has also teamed up with Eckstein Development on a 80/20 rental project at the corner of Purves Street and Jackson Avenue on the former Dykes Lumber site. (You can see the project’s website here.) The developers bought the land for $6.825,000 in 2011 and are putting another $40 million and change into the 98-unit project. According to the DOB permit, there will be about 75,000 square feet of residential and 5,000 square feet of retail. Opening is slated for the first quarter of next year.
