building
When it comes to lofts, we’ll take this kind of a building over a new development any day. As far as we can tell, the developers paid $3 million for this place last year. Clearly, there was some unused FAR floating around. GMAP P*Shark

  1. I live across the street from this building. The top part hasn’t changed for at least a year – no additional work, but they seem to have started up again just a few days ago. The roof deck will have an amazing view.

  2. The site has three buildings – two smaller buildings are located on N9 and N8. That may be where the extra FAR comes from. If I’m reading the permits for the large building correctly (no guarantee there), it was filed as an “office” before the rezoning was approved. No idea why it has been amended to a residential project – I assume that shoe is waiting to drop.

  3. Ask your buddy Bobby Scarano whazzup.
I see his name all over the DoB permits. He reads this blog. Why hasn’t he filled us in?
I see no evidence in scanning DoB website that turning residential but am not fluent in DoB permit-speak.
