Hope these guys can build better than they can spell! There’s not much publicly available information on what lies in store for the site, other than that it will be a three-unit, 6,000-square-foot residential building. As you can see from the photo on the jump, not a lot of progress has been made to date….

GMAP P*Shark DOB
Does anyone have a photo of the building that used to be here? I am doing genealogy research, and I believe this used to be the Hay & Feed store owned by Goetz & Sons in the late 1800’s.
Well it looks like, through a reverse search using the developer’s address that Alex Landry does, in fact, live there.
Yep, the net is a wonderful thing.
John Ife, you harness the power of the Internet to achieve my Weaselbuster of the Day award!
“DOB applications list Dolly Williams as owner”
Actually the most recent permit application (4/4/2007) is ” RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING CHANGE OF OWNER TO ALEX LANDY”

I guess it’s also possible that the phone numbers have been re-assigned to others following the troubles of the folks I cite above, so maybe I’m putting too much faith in Google.
OMG, it gets better. Plug the contactor’s phone number into Google and you get the name Nikoll Shkreli of the Bronx. Plug that name into Google and you get this:

Wonderful! A building developed by a disbarred attorney and built by a convicted chop shop operator!
DOB applications list Dolly Williams as owner. Current? or former City Planning Commission member. Connection to FCR…etc
Oh, this looks REAL promising! Plug the developer’s phone number into Google and you get the name of attorney Alexander Z. Landy (http://www.chevychasewholesale.com/pdf/grf303_rpt_ny_attn_list.pdf)
Plug that name into Google and you get this:

I sure wouldn’t want to be buying an apartment from someone who “breached his fiduciary duty”.
Isn’t it Guerilla Equities?
