Across the street from the Jackson Foundry in Williamsburg, this sizable building is on its way up. We believe that this permit is the one for the building that is rising in the background and that this permit is the closest building. Both are 10,000 square feet. It also looks like there’s plenty of room in the foreground for more buildings. The architects? Karl Fischer. No drawings up on KF’s website yet. Any chatter about this in the neighborhood?

They have been working day and night on this building. On the other side of the block (Withers Street) there is another building going up, all together there are 5 small buildings within 1 square block of this one.
The property set untouched for three years now, and all of the sudden there is a sudden rush to build it as quick as they can – I can only assume they are trying to wrap it up before winter and try to make some sales in the spring.
