We made an offer on 54 Greene about 6 years ago..... crazy thats its been left to rot all this time.

Such a jarring mismatch of taste: the exterior cladding, the hardscaping, the choice of shrubbery versus the interior. Was this a couple who decided to divide domains? "Honey, you can do whatever you want outside, but I'm preserving the character inside." Anyway, how much to remove permastone? And while you're at it, re-open the wraparound porch. There's plenty of space inside; no need to add extra square footage by enclosing one the best features.

Really nice! Based on the shag carpeting on the stairs and the dated style of the drapes, the bathrooms and kitchen are probably in decent shape but in need of upgrading (would love to find some avocado green 70s style appliances though!) Only other thing to note is that street has a fair amount of two-way traffic.

Great house for someone who had the money to renovate - someone smarter than me can calculate interest rates and reno costs and compare to the price other houses in the neighborhood are asking that are already move-in ready. I would open the porch back up - less interior space to heat and more room to enjoy the leafy street vibe with neighbors etc.
