Really nice! Based on the shag carpeting on the stairs and the dated style of the drapes, the bathrooms and kitchen are probably in decent shape but in need of upgrading (would love to find some avocado green 70s style appliances though!) Only other thing to note is that street has a fair amount of two-way traffic.

Great house for someone who had the money to renovate - someone smarter than me can calculate interest rates and reno costs and compare to the price other houses in the neighborhood are asking that are already move-in ready. I would open the porch back up - less interior space to heat and more room to enjoy the leafy street vibe with neighbors etc.

Charles Gavan Reynolds was my Great Grand Uncle. He did a great job! His father was another builder in Bedford Sty, Michael Joseph John Reynolds (my GG Grandfather). He actually died on the job! This Brownstone is beautiful. No need to renovate! It's got to be the best in Brooklyn. My grandparents (Gertrude (Nunan) & Dr. Frank B. Ring) and great grandparents (Joseph and Philomena (Reynolds) Nunan) lived on 94 Fenimore Street most of their lives. My grandmother Gertrude was born on Bainbridge in Bedford Sty.
