It’s been more than five months since we broke the news that Union Market was going to be taking over the former Blockbuster space at 288 Court Street. The store’s website has been projecting a December opening and yesterday Cobble Hill Blog wondered aloud about the situation: “Despite what some may consider slow progress, the windows are decorated with holiday lights and posters of people with Santa hats. ps. scaffolding down at the church turned residences on degraw and strong and there were interior lights on this morning. maybe a bunch of long term projects are going to be done this winter. ho ho ho!
